About the Artist:
Dina has been interested in a wide range of creative arts from a very young age. Her creative journey has taken her from the professional design world of the paper crafting industry to state-wide recognition and publication as a colored pencil artist, with many side quests along the way.
After many years of self-employment, Dina returned to full-time work for Memory Book by Jostens. She still maintains her creative business and also spends time promoting the arts in her mid-Missouri community. Dina has four adult children and enjoys thrifting and upcycling.
Dina learned to sew at the age of nine. A lifelong lover of Winnie the Pooh, in July of 2024, Dina decided to learn the art of bear making, with a special focus on classic-styled, five-joint bears. The skill flowed naturally into creating unique keepsake bears using clothing and fabrics that belonged to her clients' loved ones.
